Meet Scott Thomas, our Editor in Chief!
A lifelong Cards fan, born and raised in the St. Louis area, who started following the team about the same time the Wizard began doing backflips at old Busch for Whitey. He was overjoyed in 82, and heart broken in 85 and 87.
He reveled in the homerun chase (and attended the game when Big Mac hit 62). He marveled at the MV3, David Freeze playing out of his mind, and Albert delaying the demo of old Busch. He watched in horror as Ankiel went from ace to chump in a single inning and rejoiced when he was reborn again in the outfield.
His fandom spanned the entire time Waino pitched to Yadi. He’s been around long enough to know that Mozeliak’s success was entirely piggy backed on Walt Jockety and Jeff Lunau and would eagerly trade him for Schildt and gladly eat Mo’s salary.
Finally, he has a streak of attending the home opener every year since the turn of the century.
Now Scott aims to do his part in keeping fellow Cardinals fans fully up to date with all things Cardinals baseball and to create a community just for Cardinals fans alone to interact, learn, and discuss their favorite team in MLB.
